Cowork is the dashboard where AI Employees live and work day to day. Forge is the workshop where you design new ones. Most teams use Cowork constantly and open Forge when they need a role no one else sells.

An Employee is a named role with a personality, an org chart seat, and authority over a set of tools. A Syntic AI Agent is a stateless executor that runs one task. Employees are designed in Forge. Agents are dispatched by Employees at runtime. See the platform overview.

Forge is not yet certified for HIPAA, FedRAMP, or FSI workloads. Talk to enterprise about pilots in regulated environments.
